MadNomads exists so people can have great trips and so independent hosts can run sustainable small businesses. Both depend on respect and trust.
For travellers
- Treat hosts, staff, and local communities with respect.
- Honour the listing's house rules — check-in / check-out times, noise, pets, smoking, etc.
- Leave the place clean. Damages are billable; we may withhold from your account if disputed.
- Respect the natural environment. Pack out what you pack in.
- Do not make group bookings under false pretences (e.g. couples booking for a stag party).
- Submit honest reviews. Coordinated review attacks are a permanent ban.
For hosts
- Honour confirmed bookings.
- Listings must be accurate: photos, facilities, pricing.
- Do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, caste, gender, sexual orientation, disability, marital status, or nationality.
- Do not solicit off-platform payments for bookings initiated on MadNomads.
- Be reachable — respond to guest queries within your declared response time.
- Comply with all applicable Indian licensing, safety, and tax regulations.
For everyone
- No harassment, hate speech, or threats in messages or reviews.
- No fraudulent payments or chargeback abuse.
- No fake listings, duplicate accounts, or impersonation.
Enforcement
Violations may result in warnings, removed listings, refunds withheld, account suspension, or permanent ban — proportionate to the violation. We will tell you why.
